Cities Alive - eco junction sustainable future

The “Eco Junction for a Sustainable Future” represents a forward-thinking master plan aimed at creating a sustainable, socially inclusive, and environmentally conscious development. The project focuses on three core zones: residential areas including private dwellings and a foster home for children, verdant woodland and open park spaces for ecological regeneration, and a business hub near the highway promoting sustainable enterprise. By integrating micro-hydro energy systems, the design ensures energy self-sufficiency while maintaining ecological balance. The plan incorporates biodomes, silvopasture systems, trekking routes, fleamarkets, and microplots for food production, fostering a community-driven approach to sustainable living. Its strategic location near major transport links and green corridors, combined with thoughtful zoning and natural energy spaces, ensures a harmonious blend of human habitation, environmental preservation, and economic vitality. 

In this project, I played a pivotal role in conducting a detailed site analysis, taking into account topography, existing natural networks, and soil types to devise an effective zoning strategy. The resulting design divides the land into distinct yet interconnected zones, maximizing functionality while preserving ecological integrity. I developed a detailed master plan that incorporates renewable energy solutions, such as micro-hydro systems, and innovative green infrastructure elements like swales and eco-structures to enhance landscape productivity and manage water sustainably. My work included designing spaces for food production through biodomes, allotments, and silvopasture systems, as well as creating trekking routes and community recreational areas. Additionally, I prepared detailed visual representations and 3D models of key elements, illustrating the seamless integration of residential, business, and ecological zones. This project showcases my capability to deliver holistic, sustainable landscape architecture solutions that balance environmental needs with community development.
